Operational Experience

MORE-Maritiem is built on more than three decades of maritime and offshore experience, combining vessel command, DP operations, offshore project execution, operations management and training.

Hans Rietvink has worked in senior marine roles ranging from Master on offshore accommodation and project vessels to Operations Manager for multiple offshore vessels and projects. His experience covers daily vessel operations, client coordination, project support, commercial follow-up, QHSE awareness, training delivery and operational problem-solving in demanding offshore environments.

Operations Management

Hans has held senior operational roles, including an Operations Manager position within Boskalis, with responsibility for multiple offshore vessels and projects. This experience included daily vessel operations, client coordination, project support, commercial follow-up, invoicing and operational decision-making.

MORE-Maritiem brings this operational background into freelance and project-based assignments where clear coordination, safe execution and reliable communication between vessel, client and office are essential. Operating from a fully equipped office in the Netherlands, with own transport available and close proximity to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, MORE-Maritiem is well positioned for assignments in Northwest European ports, client offices, vessels and international offshore project locations.

Vessel Command & DP Operations

With a background as Master on offshore accommodation, project and DP vessels, Hans brings strong vessel command experience and a clear understanding of shipboard operations, client expectations and offshore project requirements. His experience includes DP operations, offshore construction support, accommodation vessel operations and work in demanding international offshore environments.

Project Execution & Client Support

MORE-Maritiem supports offshore projects by creating clarity between contractual requirements, vessel capabilities, client expectations and safe execution on board. This includes operational preparation, interface management, project follow-up and practical support during complex marine and offshore activities.

With experience from both the vessel side and the office/project side, MORE-Maritiem helps bridge the gap between planning and execution.

Training & Competence

Hans works as a maritime and offshore instructor for training centres across the Netherlands, delivering and supporting courses in STCW, OPITO, NOGEPA and GWO-related training environments. This instructor background strengthens MORE-Maritiem’s ability to communicate clearly, assess practical competence and translate offshore experience into structured, understandable guidance.

By combining current training delivery with more than 30 years of operational experience, MORE-Maritiem supports crews, project teams and client representatives with a practical but professional approach to safety, competence and operational readiness.
